Alhamdulillah, I am halfway down the road with my pregnancy :) And as schedule, it's time for my 1st ultrasound in the 2nd trimester!!~
Anxious I was yesterday, pressured by byk orang ckp my bump looks rather small for my pregnancy age.
Me : kami adi-beradi andang damit semua towards the end krg jgn tekajut if basar *lol*
Others : tpi durg ada baus2 jua mcm u?
Me : uhh- nda plang? but hey look at me.. i was cute masa baby (not to brag) and my mum's symptoms was more or less the same like mine when she was having me :) (but starts to feel abit worried takut bnr ckp dorg the baby damit)
So yeah, moral of the story... don't let what others say get into you.. especially yang bagi beuri2 atu.. I mean, if your family cool saja then cool tah jua saja. Some women can be soooooooo annoyingly over when it comes to dealing with pregnancies! I'm glad my family inda... Alhamdulillah~
Anyhoots, the U/S session went well yesterday. Measuring procedures were jutted down and yes, curious ol' me had to look into several sites to actually figure out what all the measurements mean. Boleh kan betanya the doctor but I was in desperate need to peepee msatu *lol* And Alhamdulillah, semua upto 90th percentile (based on the charts). See, they have this charts which the nurses and doctors refer to to see the development of the baby. Ada garisan 10%, 50%, 90% (ani based on my research saja ni... have yet to know from the doctor herself nanti) between 10%-90% atu kira ok lah. Within the range and @ 20wks, more time to grow. Wallahuwa'lam.
Seeing the little one's heart beats, spinal structure, thighs yg gebu-segebunya, arms and hands.. ya-Allah, betapa hebatnya ciptaanMu... I almost break into tears sampai nda sampat to ask the doctor to print them out *sigh* Let it be a memory for me, myself and hubs. As for the gender, like mommy.. dearest little one is being secretive jua. A surprise is good yes? Hehehe we'll just have to wait and see tu nanti. And not forgeting, bli baju yang unisex th saja ni. :D I have yet to set a shopping schedule for this next 4 mths! Well- actually, I have approx. 3 mths left to do my preparations. It's time to print out the shopping list.
