definitely not my last entry...

3 years has passed since you've (Little Mr. I) joined Taska and next year will be Little Miss S's turn. I can't help but feeling overwhelmed for the past three years. The both of you  has grown so much and has made me loved you deeper each day... mama will always cherish every moments and times spent with all of my children. All the memories wihich I should have entered into this blog but insya-Allah will try to fit in when the time suits.

As of today, Little Mr. I is Young Mr. I *hehe* Me and husband decided to circumcised him at the start of the school holiday this year.  Alhamdulillah, he actually enjoyed going through his 2 weeks recovery *rollseyes* pasal apa tu nah? Pasal kena pamper berabissssss.... makan minum semua kena hidang! I was abit worried, ok... that's an understatement.. I was worried berabissssss that he'll be complaining throughout but syukur, he's so excited to finally have done it (at 6 years old). I still remembered the night we brought him over to Klinik Dr. Asri in Serusop / Anggerek. Chose to do it here pasal lesser crowd and lower anxiety (for mummy).  He only started to feel the pain when we reached back home that night and terus fell asleep... woke up the next morning (pain was bearable) and he was all smiles! 

Mama and Babah is so proud of you Abang I.. may Allah protect our family and guide us always. 

Little Miss S pun nda ketinggalan with her newly achievement this December. It was our 2nd time persuading her to be toilet trained. The first time was middle of this year, sekajap saja nda pakai diapers then the rest of the day "pakai pampers saja!" One week we tried and was unsuccessful, so we decided to just go with the flow and see how it goes. So randomly 2 weeks ago we asked her to just wear her undies and surprise, surprise.... she made it through the day!!!  Alhamdulillah~ We were like.. this is too good to be true... try lagi the next day, and the following day.. sama jua! (And ofcourse we praise her everytime she asks anyone of us to bring her to the toilet to pee and poo) Mesti puji to make them more semangat and as promised, I bought her another set of undies from mothercare since there is a sale on-going now *lol* We then observe her diaper throughout night time (sleep time) and noticed that the diaper inda wet and she will only request to go to the toilet when she wakes. 

Achievement unlock my dear Little Miss S. Sekolah next year nanti can join swimming lessons!

So now, as promised to both of them. We'll be fulfilling their December wishlist (which involves activities in Brunei only) Can't go out the country due to my condition at the moment. This I will pun in another entry. Until then...

...feeling helpless

Who would've thought the time would come when I will feel so helplessly helpless as I heard my very own child cried for us. I just have to. I must! WE MUST (as my husband said it). I didn't want to leave him with the teacher on the first day, no! Not after the loud scream and cries calling for 'Mama!!!' Arrrggghhh, must-not-give-in. Part of me kept of saying that this is normal, most young kids cried on their first day... most want their parents to be around and ALL MOM, I can confidently say, can't bear hearing the pleas of their children.

Took a lot of courage to walk away from his class that day. There I was stepping away from his classroom, anxiously thinking how good he would be behaving, how his teacher manage the whole class, how would he treat his friends... will he pee in his pants? will he eat his snacks? will he lose his things? Yes, call it paranoia! Little Mr. I has finally gone to school..

It's coming to a month after that very first day... Little Mr. I now loves going to school. Did all sort of artsy crafty school work and is a happy, happy boy! The best part is, seeing his happy face and having him hug me lovingly everytime we pick him up from school. Mama is so proud of you sayang... LOVE YOU LOADS! And Baby S too..

Pray that the both of you will be amongst the pious, always be in Allah's guidance and protections, and will always be in Allah's blessing... Amin...

It has been hectic..

HNY 2015 to all! A little bit late... and incase I missed it yet again, HCNY!

Here we are in the second month of 2015! Really? Has January gone by so swiftly?! I have not recuperated from all the hecticness! Goodness me! #toomuchexclamationmarksalready

We have finally settled in our new place *not a permanent one just yet* but Alhamdulillah! Took me only 20mins drive to and from my campus every morning, noon and afternoon. So this is how it feels like to be a full-time student AND a mother of two!!

Little Mr. I as I mentioned in the earlier post has settled in quite happily in school. Nope, not minding the fact that he is attending the afternoon session and has made friends with our new neighbour's kids whom he played with every afternoon... Baby S is coming 5 mths by end of this week and our BF-ing journey still continues *patsmyselfontheback* Alhamdulillah~ she can roll on her back now and know her Mama's schedule quite well. Don't mind dearest me during the day but at night, I'm all hers... *lol* her brother pun mesti by herside esp. when it's sleep time. Fyi, fav feeding position is lying side by side on our bed... sometimes kesian I tengok Little Mr. I, he needs me but I'm left helpless if I were to be feeding Baby S.. and despite that, he still prefers me than his father. Mothers are everything, yes? 

Since I'm back to studying, I kept on thinking how much I have change over the past decade! Yes, it has been a decade since I first entered Uni and now I'm back as a full-time research student. Semoga dipermudahkan segala urusan ..insyaAllah~ May Allah guide us through this new phase of life.. Amiinnn...

... hello December! 2015 preps...

This is a #latepost ...

Finally had a celebration for Little Mister I and many thanks to all who came and celebrate it with us. Yes, for the 2 birthdays he's had before we only celebrate kecil-kecilan sahaja and this year, why not kan? Since he's been bugging us with a happy birthday celebration with cakes and all~ so yeh... Initially was planning to do everything at home but we ended up with celebrating it at KFC. Next year perhaps? We'll see...

We've enrolled him for school next year..can't wait!! Another milestone for him .. *sigh* Guess I'll be one of those mothers peeping through the class window hoping that her child will do good in school. Sanggup kah kan tinggalkan him ah? I'm having separation anxiety already..!! Noooo!! I  have yet to make him his uniform (yes, yes I know... ahir sudah ni, takut inda siap but insyaAllah they can get it done.. will go to the tailor shop this weekend)...semoga dipermudahkan segala urusan nanti *Amin*

Oh yes- on another note, dear 'ol  me pun FINALLY starting my studies early next year... anxiously waiting for my pending approval. Supposed to start last August but after consideration and as advised by my Supervisors, I better start early next year...  yes, have to go through all the process in order to defer my LDP scholarship to 2015. (My earlier approval was just until end of 2014) So masani, menanti sebuah jawapan.. but if ikut my institution, I am supposed to start my research studies next January. Which means, I'll only be working a few days end of this year then sambung lagi cuti belajar for the next two years... Alhamdulillah~ Mudahan ada jawapannya soon... 

It'll be a busy month for us ni. Hubby will be away for a two weeks course overseas (wished we could join him!), then on the same day ia balik, my parents will be off for Umrah with few of my aunts and cousins ... again, missed my chance to join them. Praying for invitations ke sana one day... *Amin* In the meantime, I need to do my errands, prepare and settle few things before 2015.

Alhamdulillah, it's our 'big baby's 3rd birthday today! Hoomaaaiii... sudah besar si abang kami ni! Happy Birthday my dearest, semoga Abang sentiasa dalam lindungan Allah SWT, menjadi anak yang soleh, hormat dan berbakti kepada orang tua dan sentiasa berpegang teguh dengan ajaran agama Islam serta menjadikan Al-Quran sebagai pelita kehidupan Abang dunia akhirat.... *Amiinn*

Can't wait for your birthday celebration nanti!!!

...49 days

First thing first, salam Maal Hijrah 1436 to my fellow Muslim readers. It was a long and tiring but fun weekend I must say. Attended gatherings for both side of the family in one day then having myself feeling engorged by the end of the day, back and forth trips Tutong-KB just because careless ol me ketinggalan appointment cards and yes- Little Miss S is officially trained to be bottle fed (while mommy is away) and good thing it went on with a breeze though at times she went all fussy but yeah- it was successful and she's still, I am grateful to say, bf-ing.

Today Little Miss S is 49 days old, which means we're 9 days off confinement period *Alhamdulillah* and the challenge now is to have adequate supply of expressed breast milk (EBM) for when I get back to work (which will be end of this year) and study (insyaAllah next year). I have a month plus to do this, read tons of storage guidelines on google but I believe this picture really helps me to remember! Semoga dipermudahkan *Amin ya Rabb*

Being on leave, I have set up quite a few plans for the family for the next two month. InsyaAllah, hopefully menjadi lah this time around, last year sudah inda. Guilty as charged, did some online shopping yet again This time from Zalora *lol* and I'm pretty happy with the items especially knowing that I can get a 25% discount with BIBD25 promo code! Me likey!! Ended up buying banyak barang from sana... *sigh* the thing us women do during confinement period... kan nya my hubby 'Asal happy...'

... Little Miss S is 1 month~

Alhamdulillah, pejam celik pejam celik.. tau2 Little Miss S is already one month old today. Post-natal treatment has been a breeze, yet again Babu reminded me to take exra care of myself especially my inner health and give some time for my body to recuperate fully before we can start planning for a 3rd one. 'Biar banar banar pulih dalaman mu lai.. jgn dulu kan jogging / zumba apa, begagar peranakkan karang.. biar ya tersusun rapi semula didalam atu. Ani lapas berurut bawa pakai bengkung, pakai minyak panas. Kalau kan exercise atu yg pelahan2 saja~ walking, squatting apa atu ok...' Now, I used to not really take this seriously but as what we always hear 'pengalaman mengajar erti kehidupan' and in this case, don't want previous cases to repeat itself yet again. So, any pantang larang atu baik tah dituruti if you believe the logic behind it.

The one month journey has been a rollercoaster ride as the experience is rather different than Little Mr. I. This time both hubs and I took the courage to shave our baby's hair ourselves... well- no.1 sajalah, & her aqiqah too was carried out di kg saja. Next is to 'sunat' Little Miss S on the 40th day. Having both a toddler and a baby, I must say that it  is abit challenging for a first timer like myself. My boy with his curiousity and at times 'disturbing' the little sister when she's in deep sleep, myself being sleep deprived and still getting the hang of Little Miss S sleeping schedule. But Alhamdulillah, nothing that both hubby and I can't handle.

Little Mr. I has been a very good brother but we have to watch him closely as he sometimes can show his love to Little Miss S in a very 'uncontrolled' way. Believe me, there are times when he really made his little sister cried out loud! But other than that, when it comes to rocking Little Miss S to sleep with zikrullah, Little Mr. I will never fail to repititively recite them with us. *allsmiles* He enjoys bathing & nappy changing times for Little Miss S too, and when it comes to bed time, he will still wait for dearest me to tuck him in.. *aww,Ilovemybabies!*

I have also reached my 1st target on the bf-ing journey! *yay* 1 whole month... :) :) :) Next target is to stock EBMs and train Miss S to feed using bottle. Not expecting to excessively stock up, but praying that it is sufficient for her. Al-maklum, work can be stressful and sometimes lansung tak balik rumah for lunch! So yes, continue bf-ing and stocking up EBMs this 2nd month of ML and for the 3rd month, train baby with bottle. InsyaAllah, usaha and tawakal + positive thinking...

So I've been thinking of rewarding myself with a shopping treat (apart from barang2 for my babies ..that is)  SO many things arah my wishlist that I myself not sure which one to start. 

This year langsung I haven't bought anything for meself... reason being, nada mood, none yang caught my attention and also pasal last year banyak bali barang di Singapore dah~ And yet, there is still one particular thing that I have not buy even during our holiday last Dec... a handbag! So far I have 2 totes, 2 satchels (fabric and leather) and 2 clutches.. masih inda cukup? Well..~ my totes kan worn out sudah.. so I need a new everyday handbag. *batslashestohubbyandIgotmyselfanod!* yippee!! So, I placed my order and oooooooooo I can't wait for it to arrive!! 

Oh yes, masa preggy haritu pun I splurged myself into buying makeups! *lol* ALASAN : semua sudah expire so I needed a new ones! And to tell you all the truth, wearing them is addictive!! And looove the fact that I can do a very au naturale makeup for work everyday. :) :) Again, hubby loves it pasal it's not too obvious... so I've got another thumbs up for this one :D 

Loooooooveee the colours!! It can be worn for everyday and night makeup plus functions ....

It's light and not oily on my face :)

I have finally rekindled my long lost skill of makeup application. Hehehe... I am a happy bunny indeed!

Salam Eid Al-Adha 1435H

Confinement starts....

Expect the unexpected they say? Yes.  الحمد لله  at exactly 38w+1d (basically the start of my maternity leave) 16 Zulkaedah 1435H / 11 September 2014 @ 09.08 am, I have safely given birth to our beautiful Little Miss S and she weighs 3.31kg !! Abt 300g extra than her brother... 

Unlike the previous birth, the show was different this time around and here's how it went ... (apologies to all as I may have put in too much info this point onwards)

5am : slight tinge of bloody show (no contraction), don't want to start panicking cos it's just a tinge and not even look like a mucus plug (jelly like discharge). So I forewarned my husband to not silent up his phone on his way to work as it may be 'time' .... confident banar kami thinking that I will deliver the baby at noon the earliest.

6am : bloody show + mucus plug. Very jelly like and sticky, unlike the normal vaginal discharge. Almost like darah beku yang keluar, no contraction just yet but my heart tells me to prep myself. Mandi, breakfast and texted my eldest sis to standby jua in case my husband inda sempat balik. I was still in relax mode.. al-maklum, baru jua 1st day ML. And from what I read, the active labour is different for each individual, some may take days after the 'show' and some immediately. And in my case.... 

630am : started to feel slight abdominal cramp, you know, the ones you felt during menstruation. Bearable but nonetheless, I began to take note of the time interval (15mins apart) Baru selesai mandi ni around this time... and then texted my hubs to inform him that it's a possibility that I am experiencing contraction sudah walaupun mild. One thing i learnt from my Mother frm my previous labour was to calm down no matter what! Packed my personal things, i.e toiletries, hp charger, minyak panas etc. Had my breakfast.. now, I know I needed the energy but was unable to finish it up!!

8am : started to feel THE contraction .. basically, the only reason why I couldn't finish my breakfast. Final checks on the things I need to bring to the hospital and by the time I'm done, my contractions was very close... didn't really check the time pasalnya sakit yang teramat sudah. I meant to call my sis but my instinct tells me to call my husband and fortunately he was already back at home, and that was already 835am.

835am : good thing about living here in KB is that, the hospital is pretty near to our place.. 5 mins drive tops. I prayed that no accidents or any road closure along the journey to SSBH else, entah teberanak dalam kerita kali eh!

As soon as we arrived at the hospital, and a blessing too! We were helped by an elderly man who was waiting for his wife (working at the hospital) at the emergency entrance..

Elder Man : mengapa wang... kelam kabut usulmu ni...

Husband : pebinian kan beranak paci.... 

Elder Man : bah tabak saja parking disini, ambil semua barang.. aku ngambilkan kerusi ah...

Immediately, rushed in and fetched us a wheelchair. Hubby helped me out and off we went to the ante-natal ward / labour room. The man and my husband was pretty helpful with constantly reminding me to recite all the dzikrullah and selawat... الحمد لله

I honestly think we caused quite a chaos that morning, because it was during the doctors doing their rounds in the ward and we entered like, 'I'm in LABOUR!!! HELLPP!!!' Now, I was exaggerating on that part..but my facial expression said it all...~ Two midwives attended me at the treatment room, and guess what? I was almost fully dilated! They rushed me off to the labour room (skipped stage 1 and 2!) where they had me changed into the hospital gown, immediate prep everything to assist on the delivery... Yes- to D-E-L-I-V-E-R !!  The nurse calmly informed me with the procedure they're gonna do...

Nurse #1 : ok, bila kita rasa sakit bagi tau ah... I have to pecahkan air ketuban kita since fully dilate sudah. (I'm like- WHAT?? Fully dilated.. no wonder sakit berabis!)

And when they did that...

Nurse #2 : since this is your 2nd delivery, if possible kami ndakan menggunting ni ah....

Me : Err- Gunting apa tu?

Nurse #1 : gunting.. mcm masa kita mula2 dulu....

Then it clicked me... episiotomy!! hahaha phew.. I was glad on skipping that part

Nurse #1 : Kami tolong kita ni...through the delivery process. إن شاء الله

And so like the first experience.. the instruction is 'kalau sakit, push.. and tarik nafas perlahan-lahan but as maximum as possible bila nda...' With my husband by my side, 3 pushes and shivering thighs, I have safely delivered our baby girl, now nicknamed Little Miss S. Nothing can describe how I felt after that, I was in disbelief the whole day!! Everything happened so fast... and syukur ke hadrat Allah SWT kerana mempermudahkan segala urusan that day! Funny bit is.. after Husband mengazankan Little Miss S.. ada tia kena panggil to pindahkan our car sal ada ambulance *lol* What a day it was...

Now, it's been 11 days since her birthday..الحمد لله and Little Miss S is fully breast-fed so far. *smiles* A new journey begins...

..37+ weeks and counting

THe time is coming near and I do pray for a smooth delivery when the time comes. Kalau ikut last time, could be any day from now *tick*tock*tick*tock* I meant to post up a checklist..then again- did that when I was prepping for Little Mr. I's delivery, and it's almost the same anyways! So just to update~ Alhamdulillah, I've got everything ready now. The mom's and baby needs insyaAllah packed and ready to go.

Now this time around, I plan to spend my confinement period at our humble place saja.. at least not too far from the Babu yang do post nataltreatment for me, can't wait!!! and yes... definitely taking more than a week's package this time cos I'm huge at the moment, even my stretchmarks burn!!! :( :( :( Didn't experience this masa last time..yatah macam I can't imagine how big my baby's gonna be. Last week during my routine check at the hospital, was told that baby's weight is already 2.8kg +- 400g .. heheh! Gebu tah our baby ni nanti usulnya... mudahan sihat wal'afiat jua. Oh yes, and I'm definitely going to establish breastfeeding this time around. It takes practice and insyaAllah if rezeki my anak. will make it through kali ani! Eat healthy, feed healthily! <-- apanya~ hehe

Speaking about health, Little Mr.I has caught himself with a flu and cough at the moment and he is in the phase of pandai saying 'No!' to things he dislikes and guess what? One of it would be his meds! 

Me : 'Sayang makan ubat ah...pleaseee~ Supaya nose inda sumbat'

Little I : 'No ubat... *shaking his head* Tuala saja utk nose'

But despite this condition... playfulness and nyanyahness nya masih lagi ON~ So I don't worry much, orang tua-tua cakap 'Andangnya tu pasalnya inda lagi batah kan beradi...' 

This time around too, me and hubs decided to go to a private clinic to determine the gender of our baby. This was when I was just 32 wks... meant to buat in Bandar or Miri, but to far a journey and we almost end up giving up until we found out rupanya in KB itself pun ada sudah clinic yang do ultrasound! And as my friend described it, definitely worth the visit, value for money and better than where she's been to b4! Plus point is, the doctors are ladies, so we're very happy with that! Even my staff is pretty much satisfied with the clinic. Definitely recommended for all mother-to-bes residing in Belait District. It's called Klinik Perdana Afiat, Jln Masjid next to KB bus terminal, you definitely won't miss it.. unless ofcourse you don't know where KB Bus Terminal is.. and in that case, contact no. is 33347705. (No commission's given, I'm just helping out all the ladies out there)

... very long overdue

 Apologies for the unannounced hiatus.... I should have put notification with regards to the matter, and today, baru tah I have ample time to post everything up. Every now and then I actually typed in something for update but didn't quite manage to complete it.. normally it's just the title *LOL*

First of all were the event entries that I've missed (pictures were attached before but then... a veeeery long entry tia now and I don't want to bore you guys:

• The Maulidur Rasul 
• WE'RE EXPECTING!!! - Alhamdulillah for this and didn't expect it to happen rightaway *blush* was aiming for another November baby but then, rezeki ketentuan Allah Ta'ala and I'm due in September insya-Allah
• 30th National Day for the Abode of Peace.... - a breathtaking celebration and field performance by all ( I certainly puji.... to the extent of my hormones playing a big part in me being sentimental that I actually teared up! *I know!~* )
• The implementation of Hudud Syari'ah Law in Brunei - which I strongly support. It is nothing out of the ordinary, it's just our normal Muslim practice on which is right or wrong. Some cases can still be punished using the Civil law whilst some with enough proofs and fulfilment to certain conditions and requirement will ofcourse be punished using the Syariah Law.
• The re-opening of Jerudong Park Playground - my goodness, the last time I went there was 1995/6 and that was when I was around 12 yrs old!! *lol* Dating pun takde kat sana tau~~ But will definitely bring my children to come and visit the place nanti..... 'children' ok, not 'child' !! Passed by the area every now and then, well- did our Post Wed photoshoot at the location though but not inside the playground area!! And that was....almost five years ago?!?

Anyhoots, yes our Anniversary (islamic calendar) is coming soon .. the 5th!! Alhamdulillah for the unlimited happiness bestowed upon us and our little family. May Allah grants us more rizq and always guide ourselves to the right path... *Amin*

Now as some of you may have known, or in case you guys have notice... I am already half way through my pregnancy. Don't know the gender of the little baby just yet, still patiently waiting for the next ultrasound session at the hospital or if inda tahan, may opt to go for private gynae clinic to get a 3D/4D scan -- reluctant though cos we didn't do it for the 1st one... so macam tak adil for him, but we'll see. Did manage to read reviews on Brunei's private gynae clinics wrt this... but the idea that they are all in Bandar makes me go *hmmmph* capital letter M! *LOL*

If only they provide home services *lol* imagine that!? Sibuk kali eh....

Speaking of home services, I've managed to book me a slot for post-natal treatment with my previous bidan / tukang urut, Alhamdulillah she is available nanti in September. Just need to constantly remind her by paying monthly installment. Al-maklum, pretty busy bah this lady... ~ I would wanna go for a different home service but I pretty much prefer this lady cos inda banyak kan di consume for pantang... just merely maajun and air masak plus ofcourse the daily herbal baths, the oh-so-nyaman  massage and oh-so-refreshing herbal sauna... (Sabar dear.... 3 mo months to go!!) Mudahan she is in good health and can make it nanti..insya-Allah~

short entry for 2014

It's the 10th day of 2014 and schedules are already packed up til June! *hooboy* Been sorting out my planner for the first half of the year which includes being a SAHM while the maid is on-leave for two months! I won't be able to take a whole two months leave though, so have to split the tasks with my other half... And I'm praying that everything shall go well..insya-Allah~

.... The Leather Satchel

It's finally HERE!!! Got a text from my dearest neighbour informing me that there's a DHL notification being posted arah my postbox. Me being away from home for awhile gave DHL a call and told them that I'll be picking up the parcel today.... *smileswithglee*

Behold..... my new custom bestie.... 

It's my NeON YELLOW (yes..striking!) Leather Satchel!! Handcrafted and custom with magnetic fasteners (don't want to ruin the leather) aaannnnd with my initials embossed! Been eyeing on this sort of satchel since earlier this year and FINALLY baru tah dapat hehehe They come in various sizes and colours too!! Still don't knw why I go for this colour tho.....but now it being right infront of me, reasons set aside.... It's classy. Vintage with a modern twist! There are many other brands tho, like The Cambridge Satchel, Zatchel... only this has the option to customade the fasteners. Don't want the buckle to get worn out~

Alhamdulillah.. Our family getaway went well. Was pretty nervous on how Little I will behave throughout the trip but all the feeling went down the drain.. Really impress with the litle guy. He's very friendly and despite anything, semua orang kan ditagurnya!!

Son is pretty fond of airplanes and trains so you can imagine how excited he went to see them going all 'Wooooowwww....plaaaaannnneeeee!!!!!' at the airport and 'Traaaaaaaiiiinnn!!!' at the MRT stations!! Upon boarding at the gate mesti seated by the window so that he can view all the people working...It's good to know that he can be a stress reliever, semua they smiled and waved at him from down below hehehe and Alhamdulillah, he slept all the way through the flight. Mama and Babah were all smiles! ☺️ 

Went to all places we've planned back in Brunei like :

- Universal Studio

- S.E.A Aquarium

- Singapore Flyer

- The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands

- Orchard Road (iON, Wisma Atria, Ngee Ann City etc) and we only depended on the MRT!! Bought a $20 worth of Singapore Tourist Pass for 3 days that provide us UNLIMITED travels all around the Lion City via MRT and its buses. Value for money right?!!

Managed to get some stuffs for Little I, got a few clothing items aaaaannnd my long awaited Geox Respira shoes!! Kalau diikutkan mcm kan buy sampai 3 pairs but I'm soooo in love with the one I bought...  

Loooveeee the colour!!

Didn't manage to get any handbags this time, hehe ah well... the one ordered online is already something! Disappointed I was yes.. then again, banyak masih my bags yg belum worn off. So, I just let it pass this time around... kumpul2 $$$ dulu hehe

Hubs too got his targetted itemssss... Yes, banyak bh olehnya. True what some ppl say, when MEN shop, they reaaaaally shop!!! Then we went on satisfying our cravings at Krispy Kreme doughnuts.. daily dosage of the original glazed for breakfast at the hotel.... nyum!! Even Little.I is satisfied! *lol*

Speaking of hotel... got a tiny problem with my reservation. Thinking that we could save some $$$ I reserved our stay at the V Hotel Lavender.... my review??? Stayed there on the night of the arrival and checked out the next day!!! Yes! The room was so small... good for those who travel light i.e backpackers. Has a small gerai that sell halal meal tho but it's just not for a family. I can even tell that Little.I pun inda kesiukkan in the hotel. Didn't get a good night sleep and ended up making a reservation for the rest of our stay at Royal Plaza On Scotts... Stayed here once and has always remembered the ultimate comfort of the bed and spending my days walking back and forth from Orchard to the hotel *lol* 

So why didn't I booked RP in the first place you all asked?? Pasal they don't have any offer back then and it's expensive! LUCKILY though on my last minute booking (directly from the hotel website) via my phone.. it has an offer which we can't refuse... almost 60% off the regular price (well, I may be exaggerating here.. but it was way cheaper that I surfed on before the trip!) Husband was satisfied with the comfort, Little.I was very happy with the space provided even for a mere superior room... everything about RP is just how we imagine it would be. Plus the MRT stations not that far off jua.... simply going from one spot to another via underpasses and making sure we went at the right exit! Alhamdulillah, since we've planned our journey sudah... we've managed! :) Kinda reminded me of the London tubes... and that Singapore Tourist Pass is a saviour! No need to buy MRT day tickets, it's one off and you can exit at any train stations!! Yes- ANY!!! Oh- except going to Sentosa ofcourse.. the sentosa express is a different train from Vivocity Mall which cost you just $4.00/person and it is a return tix. Would love to ride the cable car but since we were chasing the time... nda lah we jadi. Would be fun tho... maybe next time when all the kids are big enough to enjoy all the rides or probably, just us (Me & Hubs) hehe.... insya-Allah~

I just can't wait to post this one up! A dear friend of mine just got back from her hols whereby I requested her to get me a few things. Nah, not bags..... Apanah? Ladurèe  Macarons and L'Occitane Toiletry set (They had a special offer disana hence asked her to get it for me) lain2 kan?? D :D I love love love love looooooove the scent of L'Occitane's Cherry Blossom range... Asked Hubs who was busy watching footie on the tv tadi and what response do I get? "i tell u later....." Aiyaaaaaa!! Note to self, jgn bawa him becerita when he's fully concentrating on the tv. Nudge, nudge pun nda kena peduli....kesian kan!?!? 

 

Tasted the caramel mac... Oh so gooooooooddddd!!! So tasty that I end up saving the rest of it for tomorrow cos sayang~ Fleur De Lyss' pun tiada tandingan! *fuh!* will have a go nanti in the Lion city! Wheeee~~!! Holiday come soon.....

Daebaaaakkk!! My friends knew this weeks ago when I first followed the series, yes- now it's The Inheritors (as shown on Ch393) or for online streaming The Heirs, a story about high schools students who are heirs to their families' businesses, shareholders and high officials in S.Korea. The characters have their own relationships with one another, be it how they met or past histories even family arranged engagement! *sigh* All the problems are simply due to egoes, money and power..... Typical drama but hey, i love all the characters! They're all well played!! And ohhh-  Lawaaaaaa the school! (wish my high school had that sort of architecture.....) hehe anyhoots, I'm on Episode 16 (via streaming) and Episode 8 on tv. Why I watched both? To clearly understand the subtitles!! One says it's like this..the other says like that... So it's better to watch both to get clarifications rather than get myself all confused!! It's amazing how they all can play youngsters when their age are all in the mid 20s! Wish I have that youthful look..... Again, Korea... i will set my food to that country one day...insya-Allah~

Ok, enough on t.v series!!

It's a few more days til I go on-leave! Next week is the week both Husband and I have been anticipating  since September.... A holiday just the three of us! *yay* which is also part of Little I's birthday gift. The holiday fully packed with sightseeing and shopping in between! I am, however, has been found guilty for doing my shopping slightly early i.e online shopping and can't wait for its arrival!! Possibly due to arrive upon our return from the 'holiday' #grinsdenganiski Hotel booked! Ticket booked! Journey plan set! Little I's munching food bought! Passports valid! Budget Set! Shopping List...... Don't need any! *lol* I just can't wait! Lion City here we come!!! 

I seem to have forgotten to post an entry on Little I's big day. I had it prepared but forgot to post it up...hence, it is still in 'draft' mode. Another year of home learning before we send him to 'school' Mixed feelings here...again! I wonder how it will be nanti....seriously, my friends and colleagues have been saying "Have a baby already!!!" insya-Allah... We're planning for Baby #2, a 2014 bubs, Hopeful to get pregnant soon, Allah please ease the journey for us and if it is difficult, please guide us through it... *Ameen*

...decennial holiday destinations...

As some one who loves travelling, ofcourse I have a few dream destinations that insya-Allah I will fulfill when the time comes. Me and Hubs decided that this could be our decennial anniversaries vacay trips. *big grins* enough to save $$$ right?  Out of the 6, 3 would've come true next year had I've been given the opportunity to continue study abroad this year. 

Yes, got the news wrt my LDP, mixed feelings at first but then when I think of it deeper, probably it's for the best and it's not the time - yet! I've been offered a scholarship to further my studies, yes... bUT I am ONLY to do it in Brunei. Alhamdulillah~ So now I am still waiting for the offer letter / email / call from our local institution.... Which would be a Research course instead of a taught one! *I'm a nervous wreck!* I'm not that good in doing researches to be honest.... Kita tengok ja nanti, mudahan dipermudahkan segalaNya

Yes, like million others.. I too, have recently updated my iPad's OS to its latest edition. Took me almost 8 hours to complete the whole process from downloading AND installation! Alhamdulillah, worth the wait..and am loving it so far. 

Running programme

I have been reading the past month on how to develop fitness through walking and running. Ketinggalan sikit... *i know* but amazed me jua at the same time that last Ramadhan I have managed to get myself back to my 'ideal' wt (finally) and am planning to maintain that with extra fitness.

Lama dah myself ni nda doing her daily walks .. last was before I got married *nyahahaha* that's 4 freakin' years ago!!!! Bagus kan....??! So now I've decided to upgrade my walks to run by following the 8-weeks running programme and will officially start next week 16.09.2013 and target is to achieve my 5km run in 30mins only by end of 8-weeks. Insya-Allah~ We'll see how it goes...

Made my 2nd purchase from ZALORA few days ago. basically it's a black modern kurung by HAtTA and am absolutely in l❤ve with it. And so the purchase.. 

 

 Beautiful eyh?? Plan to wear it for HM's birthday day function....  😍😍😍 sekali sekala~ Being based in KB, we seldom get invitations for the day except for Ramah Mesra in Belait. THAT pun we don't have to wear black dress...  So once in a while, when Hubs didn't get to work during that day (normally he would) and have an invitation, I tag along. Will definitely post up an entry on that nanti... :) :)

I haven't got the chance to wear this last time... due to family commitment, I decided not to join dear Husband attending the day function. I didnt even wear it for Aidil Adha yesterday!! But Alhamdulillah, the size fits well and am so so so addicted to surfing and may be buying kurungs online! Life made simpler these days... Hehehe
