...

Assalamualaikum dearest,

Another food I decided to introduce to Baby.I for his 11 mth.

Fish!

I was thinking perhaps tuna, but don't think I have enough time to prep the fish (not my fav subject btw) and as far as I know, nyaman besalai bh saja tuna ani and yes for sandwiches (so set the idea aside for future). Would love to learn the technique of peeling fish bones though... something worth a try! *scribbling into my to-do list*  Anyways, bought the frozen boneless dorry fish from Supasave. Yes, apparently all Baby.I's food are available at this shop, from fruits to veggies to meat.. hehe except ofcourse, Beras Pusu.

Again, I decided to create the fish recipe closer to our taste bud, so I made a baby's version of sweet&sour fish.

Ingredients:
- fish fillet (cut into smaller pieces)
- tomatoes (skinned and seeded)
- mixed vegetables (i used the frozen ones)
- olive oil
- blended garlic and shallots.

How?
~ Cut tomatoes into halves and remove the seed.
~ Heat them with tiny drops of olive oil until skin is easily removed. Remove the skin and set aside.
~ On another pot, heat the blended garlic and shallots then add in mixed veggies
~ Add in fish and cook for a few mins before adding in the tomatoes.
~ Add in a little bit of water and leave to boil then voila!~
~ Oh yes! Blend them to the required texture......

Results :
Yummylicious!!

I'm planning to cook beef for Baby.I for next month. That'll be the time to introduce him to Mama's all time fave food (or the so called cheat food for dieting~) PASTA!!! :) Need to get the HEINZ Baby Pasta Star for this...  Good thing for fb onlineshop (if ngam instock jua tu) but we'll see.

Wishing everyone a lovely weekend!! xoxo~

HAPPY BELATED 11MTH TO MY DEAREST BABY.I... Our prayers will always be with you, may you grow to be a fine man who never neglects his responsibility towards Allah S.W.T *Ameen*

....untitled

Assalamualaikum,

I don't know whether it's just me being ignorant with my skincare or the hormonal changes in my body. I've stop applying skincare to my face since I got myself preg with Baby.I and yes now, my face is super duper dry!! One glimpse you won't notice but bila di rasa..Oh noes! Skin peeling off, tightening after cleansing and I can't even put anything on because it's just oh-so painful!!

Some women experienced alot of changes to themselves after giving birth. Ada yang berat badan makin bertambah, rambut gugur yang teramat sangat as well as skin problem... either their body, face or worst case, both! I experienced hair loss after giving birth to Baby.I. My response was like whoaaaaa...?! Banyak nyeeeeeer.... !! But alhamdulillah, because of my monthly spa treatment.. it lessens and eventually back to normal. Now, another thing to take care of. My skin care and my body.

Attending a health talk this a.m made me realise that I need to be more cautious about our well-being. SO far, Alhamdulillah, been doing well with Baby.I and our family's diet, just need to do more exercising and facial care. Exercising... erm, need to have new gears ni and as for facial care, I used to apply L'oreal Whitening Effect range but it has grown sensitive on me. Hormones?? Maybe.  Or maybe just that the product doesn't work on me anymore.... and so, I am now scouting for a new skincare. Suitable with the age... Tried so many dah.... maybe need to move on to an asian brand, Skin79? don't dare... Laneige? expensive, though I did have my skin checked by them so I know which range of care / concerns I should look for.... SkinFood? ummm... it's organic plg but don't like the smell...... Bio-Essence? trying this one out at the moment... and been using it for 5 days dah, will review once I finished the starter kit.... Missha? maybe the next thing, maybe not. hehe

Until next time! xoxo

P/S : one more day til he's 11 months *sigh* how time flies...

... baby wearing

Assalamualaikum....

Mama A has given in to a sling! *lol* Well- actually, I planned to buy it when Baby.I was just 4 months old then again I wasn't that confident on baby-wearing and his sleeping routine was still on a pillow, i.e berlenggang. Then we moved on to cuddling him while standing (tapi as he grows inda tahan cos he's getting heavier each day) but somehow lately, probably started two months ago when I realised I was preggo.. Baby.I prefers to sleep on a sling! *oh noes*

The hand-me-downs didn't fit my body (fixed size)... + Baby.I seems uncomfy everytime I wear him. So my other option was ring sling. Yes I did buy this masa Baby.I damit but inda lama pakai pasal, not confident and when my maid used them, the rings patah... good thing for fast reflex action, mun inda eeeee na'uzubillah~ So traumatised were both me and hubs that we promised ourselves to try and get Baby.I to sleep by just carrying and cuddling him ONLY to give in to slings with strong support if the attempt come to a failure (which is now...)

So last weekend, after attending a friend's wedding... bought theBabaSling @ Wrap-In-A-Box. Hehe, mothercare(tm) sells this too at the same price but I just want to gather my receipts @ WIAB so that I can be the privilege member. After all, they're selling Charlie Bananas CDs now.... with all the accessories wheeeeeee!! Iskiness much~~

Anyhoots, eversince buying the sling... I couldn't be even more happier + confident pasal Baby.I enjoys sleeping while worn by his Mama.. pandai jua ya request if he kan sleep besling, there are moments when he simply crawls up to me while dragging the sling minta kena dodoikan.. sweet kaaaannnn??? *sniffs*

P/S : Another sweet moment yesterday was when both Hubs and I arrived home after work.. Baby.I lintasi saja Babahnya just to greet me... mother-child bond? INDEED!! Jeles tarus Babahnya hehehehe sorry love!

... something worth sharing

Yesterday was a busy afternoon for dearest me (and the maid), good thing I had help. Baby.I’s food ran out and I mean, habis!!! So yeah, had to do emergency shopping for all of the ingredients straight after work. Nasib lah tempat membali barang-barang ani not that far off AND it’s school holiday (so less traffic)I decided to prepare chicken puree for this week’s introductory menu. An addition to his usual vegetarian menu. Been feeding him variety of steamed veggies since day 1 of weaning.
So there I was, walking down the shopping aisle @ Supa Save while imagining apa saja kan di campurkan with the chicken since I planned to cook the chicken …. Asian style! Simply using this motherly instinct and taste buds. Verdict : loooooving it and worth to try!!! If Mamanya kenyamanan, obviously the baby will kan?~

Recipe for my Chicken Butternut :
- Olive oil
- Mince chicken
- Garlic (blended)
- Butternut (cut into pieces)
- Long beans (optional)
- Carrots (optional)
- Water

How ?
Heat the olive oil on a cooking pan / pot with garlic. Add in the mince chicken until it whitens. Add in butternut and water to boil. Be sure to add just the right amount of water, because you don’t want your puree to be too watery. Once the butternut is soft and tender, i.e easily squashed, leave to cool and blend to make the utmost delicious chicken butternut puree for your little one. Can be eaten on its own or with rice porridge.Didn’t expect the outcome would be that nice… Alhamdulillah~ even Mr.A came right into the kitchen bertanyakan me masak apa? *lol* I am so thankful for that..

Baby. I menu for this week will be :

Breakfast : fruit puree + oats
Lunch : rice porridge + chicken butternut OR steam mixed veggies (broccoli, long beans, carrots and cauliflower)
Afternoon : fruit puree ….. all served with plain water, with fm fed in between meals every nap time. He is still feeding 2-3x during night time.... 4x during the day, so I'm not the least worried with his milk intake. Masih enough... Alhamdulillah~

Until the next entry peeps... I leave you all with I must say.. the latest crazed tv drama OST.. Muara Hati - Hafiz feat. Dato' Siti Nurhaliza
